"We live a dynamic life. Everything changes, everything moves. I'm from Budapest to the core! This is our city. I couldn't live anywhere else."

Since my childhood, urban experiences have been the means of visual organization for me. Cafes at night, cars, illuminated motorbikes and the light forms of hockey players provide the content basis and spiritual background of my paintings. The sight of illuminated café terraces and ice rinks is astonishing. The atmosphere in this case completely captivates you. I draw sketches on site, then in the studio I stretch the canvas or stick a piece of paper and the painting begins. The theme is transformed into colors, shapes and gestures. I can feel the subject in front of me, I can hear its every vibration. I mix the colors. The greens, reds, blues, and yellows are coming. A strong splash of color or a brush stroke is enough to change everything. As a painter, I am interested in the dynamic transformation of the scene, which I present in my paintings through blurred gestures. The holiday and coffee house table - as a source of inspiration - is a frequent subject of my still lifes and collages. Recently, I have been gluing newsprint and colored papers into my paintings again. I feel that I should emphasize the enigmatic signs of real life, because I paint the formal elements with abstract gestures, brownish, ocher colors. I am convinced that during painting, space must be opened for all the spiritual energy that we notice while moving. We can be in the studio in Zugló, or in a café on a sunny afternoon in Budapest.
