"My works are on the border between abstraction and representation. Their starting point is XI. the continuous confrontation between the technocratic world of the 20th century and man's longing for nature."
My activity seeks possible answers to questions about the place and role of painting in contemporary art. I create works of art in the traditional sense in the studio, but I am also interested in pushing the boundaries of genre, eliminating or even reinterpreting established painting schemes. The harmony of looking outward and turning inward creates the unity I call vision. This is the basis of each series and artefact. The pictorial gestures are often repeated and placed in a new context. The conceptuality of the works is fulfilled in the regularity of the creative process and my personal attachment to the medium. I often take my motifs from the fields of contemporary architecture, fashion and design, creating a playful dialogue with organic, natural visual elements. Experiencing material sensuality is key for me. I play with the examination and collision of such elemental contrasts on the surface. The layering of paint materials with different densities and components on top of each other creates a specific visual fabric, which gives the viewer free space for interpretation.
