„…ahhoz kell csak igazán képzelet, hogy lássuk a valóságot… ” – Osváth Ernő
I deal with several branches of the visual genre, so I consider myself not only a painter but also a sculptor. In my pictures: which can be custom-made paper pictures or blackboard pictures, I always start from reality, for which I usually make photos, drawings, preliminary studies, and sketches. My style usually appears as a lyrical abstract expressive image. In a little more detail, this means that I balance the surfaces and colors in a subtle, well-thought-out way that exudes calmness, and balance them, or if appropriate, I "overwrite" them in an unusual way, which makes my pictures characteristic of me. Therefore, I think that my works convey a harmony and an inner calm to the viewer. I believe that the artist's job is to transform between the real and the invisible world. I create my sculptures with a similar mindset, with the difference that the possibilities provided by three dimensions are sometimes much more concrete and tangible for the viewer. With these spatial things of mine, I like to highlight the properties inherent in the materials, to make them clash, and not least to make the viewer think. This means that, for example, incompatible materials such as paper-stone or metal-textile, so the combination of soft-burnable and hard-cold generates special indescribable inner feelings in the viewer. Of course, the above-mentioned example is only a concept, a kind of attitude, which is not sufficient in itself for the work as a whole, but it belongs to the philosophy behind the creation of the work. In the digitized world of our time, I try in every way to make people realize that we cannot ignore the culture of the forgotten ages, their rich and pure world of forms, because it is our job as artists to show them to the future and thereby create a renewed value.
