"In my sculptural work, I look for opportunities to synthesize Eastern and Western, more precisely, Japanese and European art traditions. My personal motivation for this is my encounter with European and Japanese culture, but the interactions between Eastern and Western civilizations today are also an inspiration. He is primarily concerned with how the defining features of the Western and Eastern aesthetic traditions come into a new context. In my opinion, the sculptural work is the formulation of an experience of being and an interpretation of being, which should provide clues for the self-interpretation of its observer."

My sculptures are not made with the aim of conveying some easy-to-grasp message that can be decoded at first glance. I think of them more as signposts. Abstraction, as an operation of highlighting the essence, has taken a central place in my sculptural endeavors. When designing a work, my goal is to create a kind of concentrate, both in terms of content and form, which initiates a dialogue between the work and its viewer. I see that the simultaneous involvement of different cultural traditions can contribute to the construction of a reflective space, the exploration of which can bring us closer to reformulating the basic questions of our existence. My works are made up of several units. The simple basic elements, such as carrier and carried parts, are connected to each other. As a rule, a geometric body bounded by planes appears, which has the role of support, carrier or enclosure, as well as one or more carried, curved shapes. The relationship between these two units is in balance, they mutually presuppose and complement each other. The two components formed by me are often accompanied by some component formed by natural influences, such as water, snow, fire, coal, or ash. The incorporation of these materials gives my sculptures new layers of meaning. Due to the flowing or spontaneous nature of the included natural elements, the composition as a whole can evoke static and dynamic effects at the same time.
