"The artist is an outsider. Its activity is a specific mediation of observed things. His creation, his work: casting his perception and the thoughts and feelings born as a result of perception into form."

Zsigmond Lucza studied painting and visual education at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. After graduating, he was an artist-in-residence in Stuttgart and Berlin, and later studied media and fine arts in Finland as a visiting student at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi. As a creator, he has recently been interested in the interaction between painting and the visual world of digital media. This topic was also the focus of his research at the DLA training of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs. At the same time, he paints figurative pictures, which often show human figures highlighted or re-emphasized from their original environment. In addition to his work in fine arts, he has been involved in visual education for more than a decade, in state and foundation art education, professional circles, domestic and international workshops.
