"... For the artist, the real tragedy would be if he liked the next day what he created the day before..." - Oscar Wilde
During my college studies, I dealt with figurative subjects, after that I decided that the abstract non-figurative system of proportions was more engaging and I thought that I would not only build along the lines of natural systems of proportions. I first gave birth to a world of geometric shapes, thinking in stone for several decades. The central statics of the compositions caught my attention the most. For nearly four decades, I have been working mostly from things found at home that can be polished. In addition to stones, I also made a lot of bronze sculptures, because in addition to geometry, I am also very excited about the organic expression, but almost two decades ago I created organic medals and small sculptures made of wood and bronze. Eleven of my public works can be seen in Pesterzsébet. For two years now, the material of metal has excited me, the skin of my sculptures is rust, which I shape with a flame cutter, weld, and then paint. I have had 35 solo exhibitions, and I currently have a permanent exhibition at the József Attila Theater.
