The projection of small vibrations of her inner visions takes shape in her works of art.
"(Keszthely, 1986.) his acrylic and watercolor-based paintings are characterized by sensitivity both in terms of technique and in relation to the displayed themes. The almost translucent color fields resulting from the use of paint are spread like spots on the canvas and paper. The subtle transitions on the painted surfaces and the veining resulting from the flow of the paint, as well as the solid, naturally uneven contours make the representation, which at first glance seems reduced, surprisingly rich in detail, the subtlety of which only unfolds as you get closer to the images. The paintings have a homogenous, neutral, mostly white background, which emphasizes the depicted figures even more and places them in an indefinable, ethereal, space-like space, leaving room for subdued colors to prevail. The subject of the paintings unfolds from the artist's infinitely personal inner visions, in which there is room for processing the past, self-reflection and responding to external events experienced in the present environment. Zsófia Hermann does all this with a visual language that further develops the tradition of metaphysical painting in an individual way, maintaining the balance between transcendental and human aspects. Whether the depicted figure is a human or an animal, the symbolic layer of meaning and spiritual content are always present in his works. In addition to painting, Zsófia Hermann also creates installations in which she creates specific microworlds from found objects or from small objects and details made by herself, and at other times she fills the space with a play of light and shadow. These works are also based on personal experiences, realizing a kind of story telling without a narrative, where the intimacy of the individual elements becomes eloquent." – Luca Cserhalmi (aesthete)
